RV Indochine is the flagship of CFM’s fleet offering the most luxurious cruising on the River Mekong. With a relaxed ambience you can expect all the services you would find in a high-quality hotel. Cabins are spacious, built in noble-wood, equipped with security boxes, hot-showers, central A/C and large storage space. The ship also has a delightful Asian decorated restaurant and a large luxury lounge. Massage facilities are also available.

Indochine has an up-to-date powerful water filtration/chlorination system for water safety, whilst food and drink suppliers are the most reliable in the region, 24 hours security ensures passengers’ safety during their stay onboard. The cruise also offers you the most loveable, helpful local staff whilst the management is Western. Laundry service is also available onboard.

This traditional locally built boat started out as a freighter with a metal hull and a capacity of 150 tons, with two large but low-ceiling decks in order to maximize storage space. Like all ships of this type, it went up and down the Tonle Sap and Mekong, stopping at Siem Reap, Kompong Cham, Kratie and Stung Treng.
We stayed as close as we could to the original line of the ship, because we wanted to retain its slightly curved and elegant lines. The Indochine measures 51 meters long and 11 meters wide. It has 24 rooms in all (4m x 4m), 14 on the main deck and 10 on the upper deck, each air-conditioned and with a bathroom (3.5m x 1.4m) including toilet, shower and sink. The water on board is taken from the river, passed through a powerful filtration system, U.V / ozone treated and chlorinated in the final step of the treatment.

In order to make the best possible use of the common areas from the standpoint of both size and variety we have a large, fully air conditonned, bar / lounge where passengers can enjoy movies, conferences from our local guides on board and all kind of activities. The ship also has a spacious restaurant at the back of the upper deck with a 240 degre sightseeing windowed space to relish a delightfull western / asian food.

Cabins
With only 24 spacious cabins, all outside facing, a restaurant with panoramic views, a lovely lounge, and large sun deck, the ship has all of the amenities needed for an intimate cruise along this majestic river.
Cabins are comfortable and roomy (16m - 172 square feet) with two twin size beds that can be joined. Each cabin has two large windows, a full bathroom with separate shower stall, plenty of closet and drawer space, robes and slippers. Air conditioning is controlled by individual remote control.

Restaurant & Bar:
The dining room, with its large panoramic picture windows, is located on the Upper Deck. All meals are served in a single seating. While catering to the Western palate, meals are a combination of Asian and Western cuisine. Local produce and fish provide the freshest of ingredients, and all non-alcoholic beverages are free of charge.
The ninety square meter Lounge is on the Sundeck along with the ship’s Bar. These are the central points for socializing when not on shore excursions. The large Sundeck is fitted with deck chairs where you can relax and enjoy the surrounding landscapes and watch the day to day activities of life along the river unfold.
